November 8, 2003 -- COUNTRY star turned rock 'n' roller Ryan Adams celebrated his 30th birthday Wednesday night at the launch of "The Kitten Klub," a weekly rock night at Plaid, the East 13th Street space known as the Cat Club back in the '80s. The club's general manager Don Hill and promoter Tommy Gunn smiled as Adams canoodled with girlfriend Parker Posey over a birthday champagne toast, and then surprised the crowd, which included Boy George, Drea De Matteo, Moby and Chloe Sevigny with an impromptu jam with local rocker Jesse Malin.
